That's me in the picture when I was a pro golfer years ago. And yes ... I holed-out from the sand trap on that shot.

Here are 10 golf swing tips from Al Young:
1. Always start your backswing by moving the club back with your left shoulder, not your right hand.
2. Feet should be shoulder-width apart.
3. Knees are slightly bent, and the upper body tilts forward from the hips, maintaining a straight back.
4. Weight should be balanced between both feet, with a slight shift towards the trail foot in the backswing.
5. A full shoulder turn is crucial for generating power, with the hips also rotating.
6. A brief pause at the top of the backswing allows for a smooth transition to the downswing.
7. Downswing and Weight Shift: The weight shifts back to the lead foot.
8. Hip and Shoulder Rotation: Hips and shoulders rotate to drive the club down and towards the ball.
9. Completing the Swing: The body continues rotating, finishing with the weight on the lead leg and the body facing the target.
10. Finish: The club rests on your shoulders, demonstrating a controlled and balanced finish.
I played on my high school golf team in Chicago, on my college golf team at the University of Wisconsin, and as a pro golfer. I moved from Chicago to Tucson, Arizona many years ago for the weather and for year-round golf.
